Last week, Hummeltorp CEO Christer Otterström participated in SelectUSA. On the outskirts of Washington D.C. at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, ambassadors, business leaders and representatives of the American states discussed opportunities aimed at promoting business investment in the United States. President Joe Biden spoke with a positive spirit directly from the White House to the invited guests.
Hummeltorp had the honor of meeting with both senators and governors during the four days in Washington to discuss how we take care of the natural resources that we already have instead of mining new ones. The talks were primarily about Hummeltorp’s opportunities for various establishments in the USA and collaborations for sustainable development.
–We had discussions with many states and 10 states in particular showed a great deal of interest in Hummeltorp establishing facilities in their states. It is of course something we look at very positively and we always strive to develop the business in order to further drive the circular transition, says Christer Otterström, CEO Hummeltorp.
