At Hummeltorp, we work for the environment and the good of future generations. We therefore have as a goal and vision that all machines and vehicles should only be powered by green electricity. Since 2018, all investments at Hummeltorp have been made in machines that are fully electric, hybrids or run on renewable environmental diesel, HVO. We have now expanded the fleet with another electric vehicle – and not just any vehicle!
There are only a few examples of Ford’s new Pickup F-150 Lightning worldwide. The car has been on the market for a few months and the demand is significantly greater than what the production can handle and the delivery time is several years. Ford’s major dealer Greico offered Hummeltorp one of the first examples as a gesture for the development and innovation work of climate-smart recycling methods that Hummeltorp carries out in the USA.
