According to SCB:s latest figures, construction is at its lowest level in ten years. At the same time, Sweden needs huge investments in infrastructure. According to calculations, it is around 4000 billion SEK in the coming decades just to preserve the current quality of railways, roads, electricity grids, water and sewage systems. The state must accelerate to maintain and upgrade Sweden’s infrastructure. But it is not enough to build new. The entire industry must also build smarter and move faster to become a circular economy.
